《黃帝四經》是馬王堆漢墓出土帛書，初付於帛書老子乙本前，當時稱《老子乙本卷前古佚書》，後經專家鑒定，認為此書是失傳已久的《黃帝四經》。《漢書．藝文志》曾經著錄此書，但漢以後就失傳了，學者根據書的內容、文字、篇章數目等研究，認為此書成書時期當晚於《老子》，早於《管子》、《孟子》、《莊子》。它體現了道家學說由老子一派變成黃老學派的轉變，對先秦各家各派都有直接或間接的影響。《黃帝四經》於經學研究有極重要的地位。
